Plant dyed with my cottage garden grown flowers and foraged hedgerow leaves enveloped in a Japanese Shibori technique. My process involves mordanting usually prepared using metal detritus; a fabric preparation, a sprinkle of flora and a slow gentle process of heat and much patience allowing time for the colour from the leaves and petals to elegantly imbue the fabric.
